I'm Kacie, an in-home lactation consultant.
I'm here to help you meet your breastfeeding goals.
Hi, I'm Kacie Mintz! I'm so glad you're here.
I created Lollies Lactation to be the kind of support I wish I'd had throughout my own breastfeeding journey.
It's so nice to meet you! That's me in the above photo, by the way, and that brand new little guy on my chest is my son Oxley (who's now nearly 5 years old). The handsome guy in the background? That's Joe, my supportive husband (and the best tickle monster I've ever met). Joe and I are parents of two other boys as well, Wolfgang (7.5) and Teddy (2.5), so as you can imagine all that tickling expertise comes in handy at our house.
I quickly discovered after the birth of my first son, Wolfgang, nearly eight years ago that breastfeeding was equal parts magical and difficult. After each of my other two boys' births, I also learned that each baby is so different, making every breastfeeding relationship different as well.
Through lots of tears, doctor's appointments, lactation visits and overwhelming family support, I was able to reach my personal breastfeeding goals with all three of my boys, and I'm here to help you reach yours, too (hopefully with fewer tears and dead ends along the way than I experienced)!
Now I'm here to help other moms navigate the beautifully challenging -- but oh-so worth it -- world of breastfeeding.
